Find out what’s new to the Scott Dunn ski portfolio this 2014/15 season…
Chalet Husky – Quite simply, Chalet Husky is unlike any other chalet we have ever seen and wows on every level. From the glass walkway suspended across the indoor atrium, to the vast wellness area with enormous pool complete with spectrum lighting, Husky is full of surprises and takes luxury chalets to a whole new level.
Chalet Jupiter – Jupiter is one of those chalets that instantly creates an impression from the moment that you walk through the door. It has all the hallmarks of traditional alpine chalet, but has a sense of humour with quirky objects d’art dotted throughout. The top floor is completely given over to the master bedroom, giving it a penthouse feel, there’s then an additional three bedrooms on the ground floor.
Bulle de Neige – Bulle de Neige is a real skiers’ chalet. The nearest piste is just yards away, making it virtually ski-in/ski-out. Once you’ve clicked into your skis, swoop a short way down to the bottom of the slope and either take a short lift, taking you directly to the main lift hub or alternatively, hop on the Plantrey chairlift and speed directly over to Méribel or on Val Thorens. Bulle de Neige has it all, chocolate book style, balcony hot tub and buckets of charm.
Chalet Le R – Chalet Le R heralds our first ever foray into Courchevel 1550, which, with its ever increasing number of luxury properties, is hot on the heels of its glitzier big brother, Courchevel 1850. This chalet has a distinct uniqueness about it which we have fallen in love with – its contemporary design, vast open plan living area and staggering views are set to wow on every level.
We are incredibly excited to present our new collection of hotels in the Swiss resort of Verbier. We truly believe that the collection is the crème de la crème of accommodation in the resort – with each hotel offering something unique to differentiate it from the other. As a resort, Verbier has really smartened itself up in the last year, with a new ‘front de neige’ outside the W Hotel which has transformed its look. We were so impressed that we decided that it was the right time to add the resort to our illustrious portfolio and hope that we can encourage you to experience it.
Wind your way in style between three of Switzerland’s most famous yet very different ski resorts, along one of the most spectacular routes in Europe, if not the world. Billed as the slowest express train in the world, the Glacier Express meanders its way between Zermatt, Andermatt and St Moritz at a sedate pace, allowing you to sit back and indulge in the most beautiful scenery imaginable.
Utah is home to 14 world class resorts, each unique but benefitting from the 500 inches of light and dry powder that fall each year. The resorts of Canyons, Deer Valley and Park City are individual resorts which fall under the umbrella of Park City and are within a 45-minute drive from Salt Lake City.
Lying approximately 200 miles east of San Francisco, are the stunning sapphire-blue waters of Lake Tahoe, the largest alpine lake and home to 12 world-class alpine ski resorts, with an enviable annual snowfall of over 600 inches and 300 days of sunshine. When it comes to the skiing there really is something for everyone, from deep powder fields and challenging terrain, to sweeping runs with breathtaking views of the lake. Northstar and Squaw Valley are in North Lake Tahoe whilst Heavenly is in South Lake Tahoe.
